Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is bringing an exciting new wave of entertainment, wellness, and fitness options aboard their upcoming sister ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. These ships, set to launch in 2025 and 2026, are part of NCL's innovative Prima Plus Class and will feature state-of-the-art attractions designed to give guests of all ages an unforgettable experience at sea.
The Aqua and Luna Game Zone is an upgraded gaming area, building on the popularity of NCL’s Galaxy Pavilion and arcade, offering a fresh mix of virtual reality (VR) games and classic arcade titles. In the VR corner, guests can dive into thrilling experiences like "Space Racing" or "Beat Hero," where you dance and move to the beat with dual swords, adding an interactive, high-energy twist. Retro games like Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong are also available, ensuring fun for everyone.
Then, there’s The Bull’s Eye Bar—a unique space featuring virtual dart games with fun video-game-style graphics, automated scoring, and big-screen TVs. This complimentary experience lets guests enjoy handcrafted cocktails while trying out six dart games tailored for all skill levels.
Another highlight, Tee Time, expands on NCL’s mini-golf offering. This 12-hole course, themed around “Wonders of the World,” spans two decks for a more extensive and interactive experience. The ever-popular Pickleball Court will return with a dedicated space for more enjoyable gameplay.
“We provide our guests with more to do with a variety of fun, exciting and elevated experiences for every type of traveller,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line. “The two sister ships will introduce a brand-new venue to the fleet, the Aqua and Luna Game Zone, along with thoughtfully redesigned spaces, bringing back many more of our best-in-class offerings, beloved by our guests and inspired by their feedback. We look forward to our guests enjoying more of what they love on board and creating unforgettable memories aboard Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna.”
The world-renowned Rockwell Group has designed the Mandara Spa and Salon on these new ships to create a calming, luxurious retreat. Highlights include a two-story indoor waterfall, sleek marble staircases, and added wellness amenities, such as:
Clay Sauna: A rejuvenating spa treatment that uses clay to exfoliate and detoxify the skin, leaving guests feeling refreshed.
Thalassotherapy Pool and Loungers: Relaxing loungers are designed to soothe muscles and improve circulation, making them perfect for unwinding.
IV Drip Therapy: New to the Prima Class, this service boosts hydration and essential nutrients to increase energy and immunity.
Thermal Suite: With double the heated loungers of previous ships, this suite invites guests to enjoy the ocean views while relaxing in a calming, spa-like environment.
Classic spa experiences like the charcoal sauna, ice room, salt room, and flotation salt pool are also back. The flotation pool, in particular, is a guest favourite, allowing for a sense of weightlessness that helps to relieve stress while nourishing the skin.
The Pulse Fitness Center now features a new design and expanded offerings for fitness enthusiasts, including the latest workout equipment, cardio machines, and a dedicated spin studio. Various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and cycling add to the experience, making staying active during your vacation easy.
