The IIFA25 celebrations are set to take place in Jaipur from March 7 to 9, 2025, promising a significant boost to Rajasthan's tourism and global visibility. The announcement was made following signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Albert Hall Museum, attended by Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and Secretary of Tourism, Ravi Jain, along with IIFA Vice President Suresh Iyer.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari emphasised the importance of this event in aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of promoting tourism. She expressed confidence that the star-studded IIFA Awards will put Rajasthan on the global tourism map, as it showcases the state's rich cultural heritage.
The three-day event will mark the 25th anniversary of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, featuring performances by Bollywood's biggest stars and other celebratory events. Kumari noted that this would highlight Jaipur's potential as a top tourist destination and stimulate investment and employment in the tourism sector.
"IIFA25 will generate numerous opportunities for Rajasthan across tourism, media, and the entertainment industries, further enhancing the state's global appeal," said Iyer. He added that since its inception in 2000, IIFA has hosted its celebrations in 14 countries and 18 cities worldwide, making Jaipur the next in line to host this prestigious event.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Tourism, Ravi Jain, highlighted that the IIFA Awards will provide Rajasthan with global branding and destination marketing opportunities, driving more international visitors to the state.
