About Ana Sagar Lake

Besides being known for its picturesque views, Ana Sagar Lake is a historical landmark. The lake was built around the 12th century by Anaji Chauhan, the grandfather of the legendary Prithviraj Chauhan. Over the centuries, it has become a key part of Ajmer's beauty and history. Surrounded by gardens and pavilions built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the lake offers a peaceful retreat. Now, with the addition of the electric cruise, visitors have a new way to experience the beauty of Ana Sagar Lake while contributing to its conservation.
