Heading To Dubai? Get Discounts On Shopping With This New Travel Card

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) introduced the new Nol Travel Card on Monday, June 10. This card offers discounts up to Dh 17,000 on a variety of products and services, targeting tourists, residents, and citizens.

The Nol Travel Card can be used for public transportation, parking, and various entertainment options across Dubai. Cardholders can enjoy discounts ranging from five to 10 per cent at hotels, shops, adventure parks, entertainment venues, and other partner establishments.

Initially, the Nol Travel Card will be available at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and partner stores such as Zoom and Europcar. Priced at Dh 200 for the first year with a balance of Dh 19, it can be renewed for Dh 150 annually.

Current Nol card users cannot switch to the Nol Travel Card at this time, but the RTA plans to explore this option in the future.

Transport, Shopping, And Food

“This card integrates public transportation and city facilities into one payment method, offering discounts exceeding 100 per cent and a value of over Dh17,000,” said Mohammed Al Mudharreb, CEO of the Corporate Technology Support Services Sector at RTA.

Salahaldeen Almarzouqi, director of the Automated Collection Systems Department, highlighted that the Nol Travel Card will have its own packages and benefits. Plans are also in place to introduce a digital version of the card with a barcode.

Amr Abdelsamad, managing director of MDX Solutions, mentioned that over 100 partners, including restaurants and entertainment facilities, currently accept the card, with more partners expected to join soon.
