Go Green At This Eco-Friendly Music Festival In Bengaluru

Echoes of Earth, a Bengaluru-based music festival, concluded its 6th consecutive edition with over 23,000 people in attendance on December 2 and 3 at the Embassy International Riding School. The event will be back with another edition in Goa in February 2024.

According to the organisers, Echoes of Earth celebrates music, art, and culture. The festival, in its sixth edition, transported the attendees to an auditory experience that ranged from electrifying Electronica and soul-stirring Jazz to foot-tapping Indie and pulsating House Techno. Artists from across the globe, including Len Faki, Tinariwen, Jitvam, Mansur Brown, Sid Sriram, and more, set the stage on fire!

But music is not their only passion. Echoes of Earth aims to create awareness about the environment and is focused on creating a platform where artists and eco-conscious people can showcase various ecological ideas and concepts to the larger festival audience and create awareness of a more sustainable way of life. This year the event celebrated the lush, green wilderness of the Western Ghats with its captivating theme, 'Ensemble of the Wild.' Explorers witnessed India's richest biodiversity hotspot, experiencing the delicate balance among flora, fauna, and habitats. Through art, panel discussions, and workshops, the festival showcased the interconnected dependencies and the pivotal roles each species played in maintaining nature's delicate equilibrium within the region's ecology.

The two-day festival holds workshops on music, wellness, and the green lifestyle.
