With the inauguration of the Ram temple, Ayodhya is expected to become India's top spiritual tourist destination, surpassing other popular religious sites such as the Golden Temple and Tirupati Temple. The city is set to undergo a significant transformation with a massive investment of USD 10 billion in infrastructure development, including a new airport, upgraded railway station, urban planning improvements, and better road connectivity.

If you are one of the hordes of Ram devotees wanting to line up for a darshan, why not arrive in style or do the journey in style? The Palace On Wheels is all about royalty and elegance, and there cannot be a better way to experience the pilgrimage journey than hop on board a luxury train

New Routes And Menus

The Palace on Wheels, said to be the world's second most luxurious train, has announced new religious tours starting in May this year. This six-day spiritual journey will begin in Delhi and take you across Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mathura, and Vrindavan. Not just the route, even the menu will cater to the devout who prefer vegetarian fare. On regular journeys, the menu usually offers non-vegetarian food and alcohol to cater to foreign and domestic tourists. The religious tour will have vegetarian food, that too without any onion and garlic. That's as pure as food can get in India.
