Atmosphere Core Makes India Debut, Announces 8 New Properties

Maldivian hospitality firm Atmosphere Core revealed an ambitious roadmap for India in 2025, aiming to introduce a total of 25 properties

Atmosphere Core, a leading hospitality company, is on an exciting journey into India with a mission to revolutionise the country's hospitality scene with its offerings. Atmosphere Core unveiled its intentions to enter the Indian market. The firm has finalised agreements for eight hotels and resorts, with the initial establishment scheduled to debut in Kolkata between April and June of 2024. The subsequent seven properties are slated for Goa, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Coorg, Kannur, Bhubaneswar, and a second property in Kolkata.

According to the company, a mix of their own brand and another brand will be utilised to manage these properties. Drawing upon its celebrated resort offerings in the Maldives, the company is dedicated to Anticipating, Crafting, and Elevating the guest journey at its distinctive new properties in India. In Maldives, the company successfully introduced three brands and established eight resorts within a decade, and building on that, Atmosphere Core has unveiled an ambitious plan to bring 25 remarkable hotels and resorts to India by 2025.

The Initial Phase

The initial phase includes the launch of eight properties. Among these, Ozen Mansion Kolkata, boasting 235 rooms and suites, is set to welcome guests in Q2 2024. Ozen Privado Goa, offering 51 villas, is scheduled for a Q4 2024 opening. Additionally, Sadar Manzil Heritage By Atmosphere Bhopal, boasting 22 heritage suites, is slated to open its doors in Q2 2024, while Stillwood Retreat, a Signature Atmosphere Coorg property featuring 42 villas within a stunning coffee plantation, is also set to open in Q2 2024.

The Vision

The grand unveiling took place in Delhi on Thursday, Oct 5, where Dipti Ranjan Patnaik, the Chairman of Atmosphere Hospitality Private Limited, expressed his unwavering commitment to establishing Atmosphere as a prominent hotel brand in India, with a primary focus on delivering the 'Joy of Giving' to guests.

Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director of Atmosphere Core - India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, & Bhutan, shed light on the company's expansion plans in South Asia. He echoed the ethos of heartfelt and joyful giving, emphasising the company's dedication to refining and elevating individual experiences crafted for guests.
