All About The Ongoing Keraleeyam Festival In Thiruvananthapuram

Kerala is a land of many discoveries. With a captivating culture, scenic beauty, and unmatched culinary heritage, the state has always been one of the top tourist destinations for its multitudes of offerings. However, if you want to experience it all in just one city and in one place, head to the ongoing Keraleeyam Festival, which officially began on November 1 in Thiruvananthapuram.

The seven-day fest cum expo that will conclude on November 7 is one of the biggest celebrations in Kerala, uniting all those who want to witness Kerala's vibrant and fascinating heritage. With several exhibitions, seminars and cultural events scheduled and food stalls set up—each representing Kerala's different regions—the event has something for everybody.

What To Expect

Spread across seven days and over 40 venues, ranging from Kowdiar to East Fort, attendees can experience different facets of the state, including food, art, and trade, via the following programs: 

Seminars

From November 2nd to November 6th, 2023, there will be 25 seminars hosted across five stages with the participation of over 200 experts, both national and international.

Exhibitions

Collaborating with Bose Krishnamachari and his team, this event features 22 curated exhibitions and over 30 installations.

Cultural Fest  

The fest is an artistic haven boasting 28 stages hosting over 400 art programs. Over 3,000 artists will participate in this event. 

Food Festival

If you have a love for food, the Food Festival is a must-attend event. It consists of 11 unique food fairs with 150 entrepreneurs participating, along with eight special events. You can explore a wide range of culinary preferences and enjoy a delightful journey through a spectrum of flavours.
