Amsterdam is every vacationer's highlight on their Europe trip. The easygoing Dutch city is an attractive destination for many reasons. However, the ten-hour-long journey to it may not be everybody's cup of tea. But even that excuse has become stale as the widely loved carrier KLM Royal Dutch Airlines launched its "Premium Comfort Class" on flights operating from major Indian cities, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi, to Amsterdam and other key international destinations on KLM's expansive global network.

This launch is a nod to the spike in the number of outbound tourists from India and their love for Europe as an all-time favourite holiday destination. In addition, the timing also harnesses the fact that summers have fallen upon us, and after two years of pandemic-induced lockdown, Indian travellers are vying for holidays abroad. Amidst this, the only shortfall remains the hold-up on Schengen visa appointments, which has derailed the number of Indian holiday-makers in Europe. Despite this hiccup, the numbers still shine in green.

While the Premier Class has been a preferred category for foreign travellers, KLM Dutch Airlines has opened up a world of comfort for discerning Indian travellers as well. While these seats are enticing for every traveller, business travellers benefit the most from them, as it ideally combines comfort, elegance and style."Premium Comfort Class is an important feature in enhancing the overall customer experience for leisure and business travellers. This development strengthens KLM's standing as a global network carrier, offering an appealing and varied range of onboard products, including World Business Class, Premium Comfort, and Economy Class. It also reaffirms our partnership with Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic on North Atlantic routes, where we can now combine our products on all routes," said Claude Sarre, General Manager, India sub-continent Air France-KLM.

Defining True Comfort

What sets this class apart is the cutting-edge design of the seats, created by Collins Aerospace in collaboration with KLM Customer Experience specialists. Not only do they exude elegance and sophistication, but they are also lighter than previous designs, ensuring a seamless and comfortable journey. Furthermore, on intercontinental flights, passengers will be treated to one or two delectable hot meals, depending on the duration of the flight. There is something to satisfy every palate with a choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian dishes. After the meal, passengers can enjoy coffee, tea, liqueur, and ice cream. A variety of snacks and cocktails will be served between meals, ensuring that your cravings are always met.

However, the most unique and distinguishing feature remains the in-flight amenity kit, consisting of sustainably made utility items. In classic KLM style, the kit fuses practicality and the airline's globally recognised and appreciated eco-friendly ideals. For instance, the eye mask is crafted from recycled plastic, and the earplugs are thoughtfully wrapped in paper. Additionally, the Happy Tabs toothpaste tablets and the bamboo toothbrush by Bamboovement contribute to the eco-friendly. This is a delightful surprise for flyers, and the increasing global conscience demands customers pay more attention to their carbon footprint while travelling.

Currently, travellers can experience the Premium Comfort Class on flights from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore to Amsterdam and several enchanting international destinations as well. For more information, visit here
