Leading travel company Thomas Cook India and its subsidiary SOTC have rolled out &lsquoAssured&rsquo, a broad safety programme for travellers in the post-COVID world. With an aim to ensure maximum safety of travellers, the companies have collaborated with Apollo Clinics of the Apollo Hospitals Group. Before launching the programme, the travel companies had reached out to their patrons in an attempt to comprehend their concerns regarding travelling in the COVID-19 era. The survey titled 'Holiday Readiness' revealed that for 75 per cent of the respondents, health and safety were the foremost concerns.
To ensure that their customers feel confident to travel again, Thomas Cook and SOTC have joined hands with several travel-related companies to bring out &lsquoAssured&rsquo. The programme primarily aims to warrant that health and safety protocols are diligently followed at every step. From contact-less bookings and sales before the trip to measures needed during the trip, the programme provides updated ways for securing utmost safety. The programme also lists a set of detailed safety and health measures with regards to airports, flights, local transportation, hotels, restaurants and travel attractions. It covers important tips and measures for everyone in the tourism eco-system.
