Where in Delhi can you watch over 50 films from 20 countries in the next three days At the Asian Women&rsquos Film Festival, you can&mdashand that too with a twist. All the films showcased at the festival are directed by female filmmakers of Asian origin. And each film screams cultural diversity as they originate from countries such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, even Syria, and of course,  India, among others.
The films span across the general category, ranging from shorts to full length feature films, from animated to live action, fiction to non-fiction, standard format to experimental, and student-made films too There are also a special categories for films called Seven Sisters that are set in the northeast of India, and on the Female Gaze, Childhood and Soundphiles.
What should you bookmark Well, although everything looks worth watching, what really leaps off the schedule for us are Muteum, a short film from Estonia, Mamushka from Israel, Autodriver, which is about a female auto driver in Manipur, among others.
The film festival is organized by IAWRT (The International Association of Women In Radio and Television), an organization of professional women working in electronic and allied media. Their aim is to advance the progress and impact of women in media, and one of the ways they do is by hosting the Asian Women&rsquos Film Festival, which is now successfully in its 15th edition.
