Tamil Nadu makes e-pass mandatory for travellers entering from other states such as Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
An e-pass can be applied for here.
Travellers will need to furnish a form with the required details and documents for travel. Once verified, they will receive an e-pass.
Except for those arriving from Puducherry, passengers entering from all other states need to apply for the e-pass.
The latest guidelines also state that departmental stores will be allowed to function with 50 percent capacity while the malls and other large-format stores will remain shut.
Salons, recreational clubs, theatres, gyms, and auditoriums will remain closed. Dine-in facilities at restaurants and hotels will be shut, but takeaway services will be allowed.
All religious places will remain closed.
