Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), in association with Gujarat Tourism, recently conducted its annual tourism conclave to showcase and promote unexplored destinations at Kevadia, Gujarat. 

The event was organised at Tent City in Kevadia, home to the world&rsquos tallest statue - the Statue of Unity. 

The event was a perfect amalgamation of destination tours, networking sessions, and panel discussions. Although the agenda of the conclave was to promote Kevadia as a brand new tourist hotspot in India, it also focused on boosting domestic tourism by encouraging tourists to visit local destinations.

Kevadia is slated to be developed as a destination for all ages with around 30 attractions like the valley of flowers, the Statue of Unity, jungle safaris, dinner cruises, a cactus garden, the aarogya van, butterfly garden, and many more. 

Prahlad Singh Patel, Minister of Tourism, stated that TAAI has set a historic example of positivity in the changing times. He further added that TAAI members have all aspects of professional tourism organizations and in the coming future the challenges and responsibilities will increase when tourist commence their visit to India.
