Get out and learn something, says the month. India Heritage Walk Festival, a pan India, month-long festival will hold 76 walks in total across 37 participating cities--Agra, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Baroda, Bharuch, Bhubaneswar, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Orchha, Patna, Pondicherry, Pune, Raipur, Secunderabad, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur and Varanasi--and it's all for free

This is the second edition of the festival and looking at the success of its first year, we are pretty sure this will be an experience worth writing home about. The festival and the walks will take you to the culturally rich Indian cities, where with an expert, you will be exploring the city in a totally different way. Shall we call it "being culturally woke" Each participating city, special in its own way, has some interesting stories to tell. From monuments to interesting markets, from museums to captivating geography of a place, these walks will cover everything relevant. Interactive walks are fun any day, add to that some interesting activities like meeting new people, visiting villages/communities and learning their ways of living.

From rediscovering south Indian bronze collections in Pondicherry to learning interesting facts about Mawlongbna Fossil Park in Meghalaya, from the Sufi goodness of Moula Ali to climbing a hill in Udayagiri, the India Heritage Walk Festival has a number of curated walks that we are definitely excited about.
