Amidst a surge in COVID-19 cases, the Rajasthan government has announced that RT-PCR tests mandatory for people entering the state and those travelling outside the state.
A new of set guidelines have also been announced by chief minister Ashok Gehlot during a review meeting.
As per the rules announced by the chief minister, night curfew will remain in place from 8pm to 6am.
All gymnasiums, multiplexes, and swimming pools will be shut. Dining at restaurants and cafés during curfew hours will not be permitted, but food deliveries and takeaways will be allowed.
Schools will not function in offline mode for classes 1 to 9.
The state government has also restricted the number of people to 100 at social gatherings and other events.
It has been made mandatory to submit a negative RT-PCR test report not older than 72 hours for travellers from outside the state before arrival in Rajasthan.
