As the world slowly inches its way towards a new normal, yet another country has decided to reopen its gates for tourists. Monaco had been in lockdown for the last two months, but now, the country is getting ready to reopen public spaces with precautionary measures in place. Restaurants, bars and museums are now ready to welcome visitors once again. The government is putting special emphasis on health and safety in order to ensure the protection of both locals and tourists.

One of the wealthiest countries in the world, Monaco has come up with unique ways to ensure social distancing. Some of them are floating breakfast trays at hotels, retractable restaurant rooftops and mini UV robots. All dining spaces will be rearranged to ensure that social distancing is maintained. To avoid touching common menu cards, some restaurants have also decided to include QR codes on their tables. One will only have to scan the code in order to view the menu on their phones.

In places like casinos, the total number of people allowed will be limited. After a security check at the entrance, clients will be escorted to their table through a specific route in the room. Drinks will only be served at the bar.  Amidst all these novelties, the basics remain the same Masks are compulsory for all tourists. Staff working in any public place should also wear gloves alongside these masks. And all surfaces coming in frequent contact will be disinfected regularly.
