Marriott Bonvoy Launches Its Latest Points Purchase Promotion

Marriott Bonvoy has just launched its latest Points Purchase promotion, as well as a new, more seamless way to purchase points in the booking path

From February 15 through March 23, 2022,&nbspMarriott Bonvoy members globally can receive up to 50% bonus points on purchases of 2,000 or more points. The more points members buy, the bigger their bonus.

• 40% bonus Purchases of 2,000 &ndash 9,000 points
• 45% bonus Purchases of 10,000 &ndash 39,000 points
• 50% bonus Purchases of 40,000 &ndash 100,000 points

To create a more seamless experience for members when purchasing points, Marriott Bonvoy is enhancing the purchase experience by integrating it into the booking path on Marriott.com. With this new update, members have more flexibility to enjoy points promotions and choose the amount of points they want to buy to cover a shortfall for a redemption stay while in the booking process. 

Members can purchase up&nbspto&nbsp100,000 points per calendar year when purchased on the Storefront sites. They can learn more and purchase points here&nbspor gift points here.&nbspIn addition, members can purchase up to an additional 100,000 Points annually while booking a hotel stay through the reservation path on Marriott.com.

Some additional information about the Points Programme

A member must be an active member in good standing to purchase and/or receive Marriott Bonvoy®&nbspPoints.

New members may purchase points thirty (30) days after enrollment in the Marriott Bonvoy programme.

Points may be purchased in increments of 1,000 points (with a minimum purchase of 2,000 points required for promotion eligibility), or in increments of 5,000, up to 100,000 points.

Bonus points are not&nbspincluded&nbspin the Maximum Purchase Amount.

Purchased points do not count&nbsptowards Marriott Bonvoy&trade Elite Status.

Members with a Free Night Award will see a different point purchasing experience in the booking path. These members can still enjoy the offer through the&nbspPromotion&rsquos Buy Points&nbspor Gift Points.
