Listen up, all you art lovers There is an ongoing art exhibition at Piramal Museum of Art in Lower Parel, Mumbai, that you need to go experience. Yes, we are calling this an experience because this isn't one of your usual art exhibition. The exhibition is called &lsquoMaking Art Materials and Technology&rsquo and it is a first-of-its-kind, interactive in nature and will take you through the entire process that goes into creating an art work. In short, the exhibition will help you recognise an idea and then mold that idea into a work of art.

The exhibition is an unique one alright. Artworks are important too but here the main focus is on the process that goes into art. For instance, Charcoal, Ink and Graphite, Paints and Pigments, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography and Digital Media. To make this clear to the viewers, there will be artworks of artists like K.G. Subramanyan, Jehangir Sabavala, Manjit Bawa, P. Perumal, Laxma Goud, Ranbir Kaleka, Jitish Kallat, Reena Kallat, Archana Hande and others. The artists will further explain the techniques they incorporated in creating their work of art. The exhibition will be spread across 3 months until June 15, 2019.

Piramal Museum of Art is a disabled-friendly museum that showcases rare works of talented Indian contemporary and modern artists. See for yourself by paying the museum a visit and then a special visit on the World Art Day, April 15, 2019. Check here for more information.
