Planning a trip to Israel If yes, then your timing is great as Israel has launched various services in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv that will make it a lot easier for tourists looking for information on how to go about when in these cities.

Under this development, these cities will have more information centres for the convenience of visitors some of which are in the form of colourful information trucks that also offer mobile phone recharging stations and refreshments. The Jerusalem Development Authority has also launched a new city pass that offers bus services from the airport to the city, free inner-city public transportation and discounts at various tourist attractions. The pass is called Jerusalem City Pass and visitors can purchase before arriving in Israel. The pass is valid for a week. As soon as visitors arrive in Israel, the travel desk of "Itraveljerusalem" will be available for more any information required. The city pass comes with a free bus service from the airport to Jerusalem and also includes free Wi-Fi service and access to the webpage of "Itraveljerusalem" for more information on the upcoming events in the city. Along with the free inner city bus service, visitors will also be able to take the light rail for a week with no surcharge.

In Tel Aviv Promenade, in front of the Frishman Beach, there is an information truck and a pop-up information centre inside the clock tower in Jaffa (on weekends). Apart from that, the city has now two new Tourist Information Centres with information on directions, maps and tourist services in various languages.
