Here's a good news for all you planning for a visit to the UK. Applying for a UK visa just got so much easier as now UK visa applicants can digitally upload documents before paying a visit to the Visa Application Centre. All you need to do is to submit documents online and simply walk in with your passport. And it's not just application forms, but also booking appointments, fee payments and other convenient services. Prior to this, one had to apply for a visa via two portals--Gov.UK and VFS Global. Now, the new system is made available at www.gov.uk.

Lugging around original documents can get quite cumbersome, right Now you won't have to do that anymore.

While applying for a UK visa, Indian customers have added special facilities

A) 'Walk-in without appointment' service, best for customer looking to submit applications urgently.

B) 'Keep My Passport While Applying' for customers who wish to apply for other visas.

C) Personalised services at the Premium Lounge.

D) Priority service.

E) Customers opting for self-upload will be given assistance while scanning the documents.

Note VFS Global, for a fee of @INR500, will still offer a scanning service. However, the service will be free for a short period.
