In the wake of the pandemic, countries all across the globe are constantly changing their travel restrictions, border permissions and (most of) flight schedules. Keeping a tab on each country and its travel rules and restrictions can be an exhausting task, especially for those travelling frequently for work.
Stepping in to make the task easier is the International Airline Transportation Association (IATA) who have created an interactive travel regulations map. The tool has an up-to-date database that travellers can refer to in order to find out what restrictions are in place.
There are four different categories under which each country falls, ranging from totally restrictive to latest updates currently under review. You can simply click on a particular country to view detailed information about current restrictions, air travel status, quarantine mandates, eligibility parameters and the required documentation. The map makes things easier with a colour-coded combination.
&ldquoThe information is correct to the best of IATA's knowledge at the time of publication and is being reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis by IATA staff, given the rapidly evolving nature of the international response to the COVID-19 outbreak,&rdquo said the IATA website.
The map can be accessed here.
