If you love going on jungle safaris to catch a glimpse of wildlife, gear up for a new dimension hot air ballooning over a national park.

India&rsquos premier hot air ballooning company Sky Waltz Balloon Safari have launched a hot air balloon safari in Badhavgarh National Park and Tiger Reserve in association with Madhya Pradesh Tourism. This is the maiden hot air balloon safari over a national park in India.

For fervent wildlife enthusiasts and leisure adventure travellers, Bandhavgarh National Park and Tiger Reserve have always been a preferred destination. Tigers and leopards stride through the national park at leisure, giving opportunity to travellers to catch a glimpse. SkyWaltz Hot Air Balloon Safari takes the experience of jungle safari literally to another level. Enjoy sights of the big cats in action and spot varied wildlife as you float above Badhavgarh Tiger Reserve in a hot air balloon.

Speaking about Balloon Safari in Badhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Vijay Shah, Forest Minister &ndash Government of Madhya Pradesh, said, &ldquoMadhya Pradesh is home to some of the best national parks in the country. It has always been our endeavour to provide tourists and wildlife enthusiasts with unique options of indulging in adventure. With the launch of SkyWaltz Balloon Safari, tourists will enjoy and experience an adventure that shall lead to spotting of the wildlife from the air.&rdquo

The Hot Air Balloon Safari in Badhavgarh Tiger Reserve will be operational from January 12, 2021. The balloon with a capacity of nine passengers will take off from the buffer zone, will fly over the core zone of the national park and land outside the core zone.

A hot air balloon ride will enable tourists to witness the vastness and beauty of Bandhavgarh National Park at its resplendent best. In the on-land safari, one is restricted within the buffer zone.

The core zone of Bandhavgarh National Park boasts of an ancient temple and a fort, which now shall be visible from the air.

The hot air balloon ride will last between 45 minutes to an hour. The inaugural price per passenger is INR 15,000taxes and is valid till March 31, 2021.

According to Jai Thakore, Director &ndash SkyWaltz Balloon Safari, &ldquoSkyWaltz has the distinction of introducing the hot air balloon service for tourists. Our endeavour has always been to curate unique experiences for the tourists in India and what better than to capture the wildlife sighting from the air. Now, with the launch of our service at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, we are exploring opportunities to start similar flights in Pench, Kanha and Panna Tiger Reserves.&rdquo

SkyWaltz Hot Air Balloon operates regular flights in Jaipur and Neemrana, with Bandhavgarh operational from January 12, 2021. Apart from regular flights, SkyWaltz holds hot air balloon festivals across the country including  Pushkar, Agra, Mandu and Araku.
