Travellers will very soon have one more reason to visit the Statue of Unity, Kevadiya, Gujarat. The region will get a world-class zoo as one of the tourist attractions. Efforts have been made to develop Kevadiya as one of the top tourist destinations in the state of Gujarat. The 182m tall Statue of Unity has already captured the attention of hordes of tourists since its inauguration on October 31, 2018, on the 143rd &nbspbirth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Plans have been made for a butterfly park, a cactus garden, jungle safari and Vishwa Van (world forest). The zoo, however, will be home to many exotic animals from all over the world. Visitors will be able to interact with animals like lions, tigers, leopard, deer, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, rhinos and bisons among others. The zoo will cover a total of 1300 acres and will have seven levels.

Along with the statue and zoo, tourists will have the option to try river rafting on the Narmada river, Sardar Sarovar Dam. River rafting is also a recent addition, much to the excitement of adventure buffs all over the country.
