Time was when travel wasn&rsquot about the bells and whistles. That you were travelling at all, for leisure, was enough to earn you the stripes. Of course, you had to be a maharaja and then you didn&rsquot care about the stripes. Here, the maharaja of Jodhpur stands near his two sons, his brother Ajit Singh and other members of his entourage, before departing London on an Imperial Airways flight on a tour of Europe.
