OT Where did you grow up Any special memories that you would like to share with us
Tracey Curtis Taylor
I grew up in Canada and England. My father took us to Canada as he loved the great outdoors and there is nowhere quite like Canada for big skies and big empty landscapes. It is stunning. But I guess the most important memory is having my first flying lesson at the age of 16&mdasha life-changing moment for sure.

OT What particular type of holiday that defines you
Tracey Curtis Taylor
I have barely had time for a holiday in the last three years as I flew across Africa in 2013 and there has been so much planning required for this flight to Australia. I am passionate about gems and precious stones, so always enjoy going to places where I can enjoy this passion. I was blown away by the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, heaven

OT As you are recreating Amy Johnson&rsquos epic journey from Great Britain to Australia, is there a place in the itinerary that were on your own personal wish list too
Tracey Curtis Taylor
India It is a joy to be experiencing India at the heart of this flight. But we are closely following Amy&rsquos route as much as possible (we had to avoid some places like Syria) and don&rsquot have time to deviate. But I am looking forward to Myanmar in particular, Amy crashed on the lawns of an Engineering School in Yangon

OT In India you have already made two stops - in Jaipur and Delhi. Any special memories that you are taking back with you
Tracey Curtis Taylor
I have been very lucky to have been hosted by the Taj Group in India. Not only is the welcome extremely warm but the service lives up to its reputation as the best in the world. I am floored by their collection of such beautiful art. My favorite memory for now is receiving a special Benares saree from the Taj Khazana boutique at The Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi.

OT Are you a foodie Do share one memorable food experience during your travels.
Tracey Curtis Taylor
I am not a natural foodie but the culinary experience with the Taj has blown me away. In Dubai I got to experience wonderful Peruvian and Indian cuisine and in Ahmedabad we had a delicious traditional Gujrati meal cooked by local women. I can&rsquot wait to eat at Machan here at the Taj Mahal Delhi.

OT Do you read when travelling
Tracey Curtis Taylor
I love reading. I have Amy Johnson&rsquos book Queen of the Skies with me on this flight. I have read it so many times but really enjoy reliving her experiences as I fly.

OT 5 things you carry with you while travelling
Tracey Curtis Taylor
Aside from the hair dryer and lot of moisturiser, I always travel with my phone, a stash of cash and a bottle of water.
