OT Which is your favourite hotel in the world
Jennifer LopezI love the Waldorf Astoria (from $249, waldorfnewyork.com) in Manhattan. It is my own oasis in a bustling desert.

OTWhat makes it special to you
Jennifer LopezThis is the definition of luxury for me I love my luxuries, and yes, I am a diva and rather proud of it.

OTWhat about more practical consider&shyations &mdash is it a convenient address for tourists
Jennifer LopezThis place is not cramped, occupying a whole block on Park Avenue. Aside from its regal splendour, the fact that it is walking distance from Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick&rsquos Cathedral, and the world-famous galleries and shopping of Fifth Avenue makes it very convenient.

OTTell us more about the luxury treat&shyment.
Jennifer LopezIt is the small details that the hotel spoils you with. The staff at Waldorf Astoria always has my room smelling of my favourite Jo Malone Grapefruit & Lime Blossom candles. They will always keep generous amounts of plain M&ampM&rsquos stocked for me. Not only that, if I arrive during the day, someone will welcome me with a bunch of white lilies and if I check in in the evening, it will be red and white roses. They pamper me a lot

OTBesides M&ampM&rsquos, what do you like to eat there

Jennifer LopezThe food is as American as it gets &mdash only with chutzpah Whether you eat at the stylish Peacock Alley or the Bull & Bear Prime Steakhouse, you are in culinary heaven But my choice is Oscar&rsquos. Named after legendary maitre d&rsquo Oscar Tschirky &mdash the man credited with creating the Waldorf Salad and Eggs Benedict &mdash the Oscar&rsquos menu features Waldorf favourites in sophisticated art deco surroundings. My favourite dish when I am here is the signature Waldorf thick-cut applewood smoked bacon.
