Abu Dhabi&rsquos state-owned carrier Etihad Airways has added Casablanca and Rabat in the Morocco to its flight schedule. The addition means the airline company now operates flights to a total of 58 international destinations. With the first flight taking off on Saturday, September 19, the national airline will run three return flights a week to Casablanca from Abu Dhabi, along with direct flights to Rabat starting from Wednesday, October 28.
Etihad Airways had earlier revealed that it will cover the medical costs of travellers who get infected with COVID-19 while travelling. The airlines urged its passengers to follow all necessary safety protocols as well as stay informed about the entry regulations of their final destination.
As part of its expanded hygiene and safety procedures, Etihad had earlier introduced specially trained &lsquowellness ambassadors&rsquo tasked with providing health information and care on the ground and on every flight.
