If the drama over the recent US presidential elections was not enough, the famous wax museum Madame Tussauds in London has added to it by changing the outfit of the Donald Trump waxwork.
Founded in 1835 by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud, the museum contains waxworks of famous and historical figures, including popular characters from the world of entertainment essayed by well-known actors, and is a huge tourist attraction.
According to a recent tweet from Madame Tussauds in London, they have redressed the wax statue of the President in a golfing attire, which they believe will be his potential wardrobe. In his new avatar, Trump is dressed in a purple shirt and check trousers with a red cap on his head. According to media reports, Trump was engaged in a game of golf when the results were formally declared for the 2020 elections, and Democrat Joe Biden was declared the winner.
Prior to this, the wax statue was dressed in a black suit with a red tie, Trump&rsquos signature presidential attire.
According to a note in the website of Madame Tussauds London, Donald J Trump&rsquos &lsquofirst figure was launched in Madame Tussauds New York in 1997, long before he entered the world of politics&rsquo. It also said that Trump &lsquogave a sitting for his first wax figure, where hundreds of measurements and photos were taken in order to recreate a perfect likeness&rsquo.
Interestingly, when Madame Tussauds New York reopened in August this year in the pandemic scenario, guests found the tall waxwork of President Trump wearing a simple black mask.
