A leading light in pop culture for many a decade, Bob Dylan launched his very own whiskey brand in April of last year. In accordance to Rolling Stone, the new distillery, in the fullness of time have found a home in the revamped Elm Street Church that dates back to 1860 (located at 616 5th Avenue, downtown Nashville). Although, the holy water has now been replaced to serve something that many may consider not so holy &ndash Tennessee whiskeys, bourbons and rye

The establishment labelled Heaven&rsquos Door Distillery and Center for the Arts will include a whiskey library (we really do hope the collection is just as extensive and exquisite as Dylan&rsquos fabulous hits), the still house itself, a restaurant complete with a performance stage and an art center that shall house works of art by Dylan himself. With doors expected to swing open in fall of 2020, it comes as no surprise that Heaven&rsquos Door Distillery and Center of the Arts &ndash named after his much celebrated song &ndash coincides with the 50th anniversary of the launch of Dylan&rsquos album Nashville Skyline. Once more unsurprisingly, &ldquoKnockin&rsquo on Heaven&rsquos Door&rdquo was a pivotal part of said album that received widespread exaltations.

In 2018, Dylan asserted &ldquoI&rsquove been travelling for decades, and I&rsquove been able to try some of the best spirits that the world of whiskey has to offer. This is great whiskey&rdquo, he declared during the inauguration of Heaven&rsquos Door whiskey.

Boy are we over the moon to hear this and cannot wait for Heaven&rsquos Door whiskey to hit the shelves and for us to have a sweet taster.
