The Indian government has approved the operation of the Bharat Gaurav tourist train between Delhi and the northeastern states.
The theme for the North East circuit is &ldquoNorth East Discovery Beyond Guwahati&rdquo.

The train will travel for 15 days along the North East Circuit, passing through Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, and Meghalaya.
The service will start on March 21 at Delhi's Safdarjung Train Station. You will be able to board and de-board in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Itawah, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Varanasi.
The train will take you through 11 destinations Guwahati, Sivasagar, Jorhat and Kaziranga in Assam Unakoti, Agartala and Udaipur in Tripura Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland Shillong and Cherapunji in Meghalaya.
The Ticket Prices And Amenities
The trains are Deluxe AC (with AC 1 and AC 2 tiers) and can accommodate 156 people.
The IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) tourist train will be a 15-day all-inclusive tour package with prices starting at Rs 1,06,990 for AC 2 Tier, Rs 1,31,990 for AC 1 (cabin), and Rs 1,49,290 for AC 1 (cabin) (coupe). The price will include, among other things, train travel in the appropriate class, overnight stays in AC hotels, all meals (vegetarian only), all transfers and sightseeing by bus, travel insurance, and guide services.
You can also pay through an EMI payment option for the trip. IRCTC has partnered with PayTm and Razorpay payment gateways.
