The return flight will leave from the holy city at 1040 AM and arrive at Bangkok by 250 PM.

The service which starts from December 3 is a trip which happens to be a must for any Buddhist and sure to bring great merit to their long standing faith. The new route now offers direct access for devout Buddhists or members of the Buddhist clergy who previously had to fly from Bangkok to Indian cities such as Kolkata and connect via domestic flight or vehicle to Gaya.

One of the four holy sites of Buddhism, Gaya is the place where the Lord Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. The site contains the Mahabodhi Temple, which itself is surrounded by important historical relics, as well as the International Buddhist Temple. The Thai Monastery of Bodh Gaya is located close by, it happens to be the first ever Thai temple in India and a welcoming site for those longing to engage in meditation.
