The Tulip Garden of Srinagar, located in the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains, is ready to receive its visitors starting  April 6, when the garden will be formally opened to the public. The garden, said to be Asia's largest, has over 100 varieties of tulips in various hues. Spring is a popular tourist season for Jammu and Kashmir and the improvement in weather is expected to boost the tourist flow that had halted recently owing to heavy rains.
