Visiting United Kingdom soon Then do not miss the Festival of Light at Longleat in Wiltshire. The festival (ticketed entry) will be held on selected days between November 13, 2015 and January 3, 2016. Artists from Zigong in China will be creating a maze of illuminated artworks. Zigong (Sichuan province) is known as the birthplace of Chinese lanterns and has been holding lantern festivals for over 2000 years. For the UK-based festival, the artists will create thousands of giant illuminated lanterns. Notable among the artworks will be a 50-metre-long floating dragon boat, a five-metre-tall teapot set, the Chinese zodiac and a recreation of the famous terracotta army. There will also be a twenty-metre-tall Porcelain Pagoda built out of 80,000 porcelain cups, bowls and plates.
