Brian Chesky (photographed above), the co-founder of the multi-national travel platform Airbnb announced the launch of its new Trips platform in New Delhi last week. Launched in November last year, the Trips platform has been one of the most vital developments in the companys 8-year history. Taking experiential travel to a whole new level, Trips allows travellers unparalleled access soak in local culture around the world.

Speaking at the launch of Trips in India, Chesky said,Trips is the most significant development in the history of Airbnb. Were expanding beyond accommodation, but taking the same people-focused approach to the entire trip. Journey of Couture
Shantanu and Nikhil, one of the leading designer duos in the Indian fashion industry, will take participants through a creative journey of style, where they will see an innovative blend of architecture and design expressed through couture. Guests will have a candid tte--tte with a couture garment, seeing its evolution from ideation and design to a final showcase on the runway at the duos Noida workshop.

Shadow and Light
Delhis jazz-classical duo, Anindo Bose and Pavitra Chari of Shadow and Light, will host three-hour sessions of songwriting and music production for their guests. Sharing their own experience of writing original songs, guestscan get inspired by the enchanting blend of Classical Indian and Western music.

Vintage Viewfinders
Aditya, a professional photographer for over three decades, will give guests a tour of his museum, Museo Camera, which showcases over 1500 cameras. After treating his guests toa cup ofchai, he will walk them through the transition photography has seen over the last 170 years, unravel stories of the most iconic cameras and more. Guests can take home a salt print of a desired image with them.

Sufi Gospel
Sonam Kalra, multi award-winning singer with a formal training in Indian Classical and Western music, will host a two hour session where the participants will learn about the origins of the Sufi Gospel project followed by a private listening session where they can witness the musicians in action.
