A hot-to-touch pizza in a terracotta box Who&rsquos ever heard of that So imagine my surprise when the delivery person handed over the package to me. What&rsquos more, standing outside my gate was their pizza delivery van fitted with a mobile kitchen. Neapolitan pizzas are droopy by nature and hence baking them on the go helps retain the freshness and also maintain the desired temperature, I was later told.
Trying to beat midnight cravings or entertaining a bunch of (unannounced guests) - a cheesy large pizza is a god sent to people like me, whose skill set in the kitchen is limited to having excelled at scouring a menu. But a dry, chewy version being delivered to your doorstep is a bust. My Love Triangle (MLT) solves that exact pain point and brings to you a pizza full of flavour, straight from the oven and into your hands.
Tasting Notes
MLT&rsquos mobile delivery vans come with an oven so they can cook your order to perfection, on the go. Start your meal with a minimalistic yet refreshing beverage such as the basil elderflower spritzer, concocted by ace mixologist Yangdup Lama. The pizzas are made from fresh ingredients heaped on Neapolitan crusts that are kneaded to perfection.
Make sure to dig into their lamb pizza and Popeye, a vegetarian preparation with San Marzano sauce, goat cheese and blanched spinach flavoured with roasted garlic. Team MLT is probably the first company to pack its gourmet offerings in terracotta containers. It helps keep pizzas piping hot even after delivery, soaks the moisture to prevent them from getting soggy, and is eco-friendly and biodegradable. MLT also provides complimentary servings of their kitchen-special chilli and garlic infused oils with the pizzas.
To add to their triangle selection, MLT scores an ace with its eclectic menu that features salads and sides, especially their anti-pasti section, and desserts by Chef Avanti. On offer are cacao and fruit pizzas but if you like to go the traditional route, soft and oozy profiteroles will satiate your sweet tooth.
We&rsquod Go Back For
I am torn between the classic Margherita and the San Marzano sauce topped Chorizo pizza. I&rsquoll be picking the Panzerotti Veg to be on my &lsquoside&rsquo. My Love Triangle&rsquos dips are lip-smacking and there are four quirky options to choose from. But my dessert choice is sorted - the sinful Belgian Chocolate Fudge cake.
