Former professional wrestler, Daleep Singh Rana, who is otherwise popularly known as The Great Khali, now enters an arena of a different kind. The former WWE star turned politician recently opened a restaurant in Karnal, Haryana. Called 'The Great Khali Dhaba', it will serve Punjabi fare, according to reports.
The food options range from the king size 'Khali parantha' to the 'Great Khali Punjabi Thali' and drinks like kesar milk, dry fruit milk shake, etc. to quench your thirst. And that is not all.
There is a professional wrestling ring inside the dhaba where the wrestler hopes to host live matches, according to media reports. There is also a sports academy alongside the eatery where the former WWE star will impart training to young students.
With this, Khali joins the league of Indian sports personalities who turned restaurateur, such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Kapil Dev, among others.
