Gulabi Mela

After a hiatus of four years, the city's official LGBTQIA+ pride march returns, and organisers claim it will be larger than ever before. The march will begin this Saturday at 3 p.m. from August Kranti Maidan in Tardeo. It will move along Nana Chowk, Lamington Road, the Opera House, and the Kennedy Bridge before returning to the starting point.

For a decade, ‘Yaarian’ the dynamic youth wing of Humsafar Trust has orchestrated this annual celebration every January.  This is the first time free entry has been granted to encourage people to use the HIV testing facilities at the trust's Vakola office, a crucial step towards promoting health and awareness within the community.

Mumbai Half Marathon

The Marathon route, which is along the sea, covers Bandstand and Carter Road. And if you're a timed run participant, you'll get a bib, medal, t-shirt, banana, water, breakfast, and an e-certificate. Running along the sea will give runners the thrill with a perfect natural ambience, making it an amazing experience. The run has different categories, and the reporting time for each category is different as well. For the 21 km run, the reporting time is 5 am, and the run will start at 5:30 am.

For the 10 km run, the reporting time is 5:30 am, and the run will start at 6 am. And for the 5 km run, the reporting time is 6 am, and the run will start at 6:15 am. Additionally, there will be parking, baggage counter, and washroom facilities available. The age categories for the run are 10 years to 44 years, 45 years to 59 years, and 60 years and above for both male and female participants. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?
