7 Art And Culture Exhibits Across India To Add To Your Nov-Dec Calendar

Arriving by Guler Ates- Guler Ates is a Turkey-born, London-based multidisciplinary artist who works with mixed media. In her exhibit, Arriving, the photographs are centred around questions of movement, migration and identity and their manifestation through material, colour and form. Her background as a painter plays a critical role in these photographs.

Infinite Light by Paresh Maity-&nbspParesh Maity's art spans the mediums of ceramics and sculpture, along with painting and film, drawing and installation. You can be a part of his works across art galleries in different locations throughout the country.

Bloom in Green Festival- You can be a part of this community-driven festival in Kodiga Timmanapalli, about 90 minutes from Bengaluru. It's a space where people come together to learn animal flow (a grounded movement technique practised on all fours). Sounds interesting That's not all. There is also Miyawaki forest planning, handpan play, slacklining and more. A total of 30 workshops, art installations, performances from local artists and a flea market are some of this festival's attractions.

Margazhi Maha Utsav- This is the first year after the pandemic that this festival is being celebrated again in Chennai. With performances of Bharatanatyam, Kathakali and Mohiniattam, there will also be recitations of classical Indian instruments at various concerts spread across multiple locations in the city.

Serendipity Arts Festival- This year's theme for the multidisciplinary arts festival will revolve around conversations on sustainability, inclusivity and accessibility. There will be musical performances along with multiple art projects, culinary, movement, and theatre workshops in Panaji.

Chandrabhaga International Sand Art Festival- Brilliant sand art will graze the cool sands of Odisha's Chandrabhaga beach with skilled artists from around the world using sand, bronze and wood to sculpt beautiful pieces.

Kochi Muziris Biennale- Another exciting art show that was put on hold because of Covid-19 restrictions. Kerala's most prominent art fair- the Kochi Muziris Biennale, is coming back after three years with the best of local and contemporary art. The festival will showcase a series of programmes such as the Video Lab, Art by Children, Arts Medicine for live music and Artists' Cinema.
