USS Arizona Memorial

This beachfront neighbourhood is where visitors will first encounter those quintessential Hawaiian vibes in the bustling capital. Of course, Waikiki Beach is the highlight, but the surrounding area also hosts many exciting events. Live music and traditional performances fill the fresh air, restaurants and bars line the streets, and surf lessons for beach-goers of all ages are a must. The Hawaiian Zoo is also a great family outing for a change of pace.

Diamond Head State Monument

Rising high above Honolulu is this spectacular peak, its iconic shape visible from the coastline and throughout the streets. A historic hiking trail winds its way to the top of the hill, and the walk is a favourite pastime among locals and tourists alike. Volcanic activity has formed the landscape into a crater of staggering proportions, forming a mystically perfect circle. Iolani Palace

Best Time to Visit
