Disneyland Paris recently announced the reopening of its iconic five-star Disneyland Hotel on January 25, 2024. It is part of their ongoing string of major transformations, and the legendary hotel is undergoing a total makeover, including that of the grand lobby and the uber-luxe suites, to offer guests an opulent concept weaved in with beloved old and new Disney characters.
This hotel is the first Disney Hotel that offers a five-star journey of celebrating Disney royalty with many experiences. Guests will be given the opportunity to become part of a Disney story and create their own magical moments. From Moana to Cinderella and Frozen, you get a chance to live your own fairytale at the Disneyland Hotel.
"This marks a new chapter for Disneyland Paris, as we continue to be one of the leaders of the European tourism industry with our unique blend of immersive storytelling and world-class hospitality," said Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris.
"We are thrilled to unveil the newly reimagined Disneyland Hotel, a one-of-a-kind five-star property celebrating Disney's beloved royalty and storytelling. Our commitment to innovation and unparalleled guest experiences remains unwavering, and we look forward to welcoming guests to one of the most immersive hotels in Europe," she added.
The Walt Disney Imagineering Paris team has combined their creativity with the skills of European suppliers and craftspeople to develop a brilliantly immersive experience that tips the hat to not only Disney royal stories but also to renowned European landmarks such as Neuschwanstein Castle and Le Château de Versailles. Besides this, the hotel's design also incorporates a royal-themed lobby, restaurants, and bar and lounges that let guests interact with Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and others in all regal attire.
Kids will be given special attention with a prince and princess-like welcome and access to spaces made just for them, including the Royal Kids Club, which offers an immersive augmented reality experience, and a Disney makeover where kids can dress up as their favourite characters, complete with hairstyles, outfits and accessories.
The most thrilling part of this Disney experience is the service. A team of trained Cast Members is equipped to offer personalised services and ensure that every guest receives the royal treatment. From a Royal Greeter who will greet you from the moment you step foot in the hotel to a Concierge devoted to catering to all guests' needs and Story Keepers who will offer more insights to guests about the hotel's hidden gems and unique details.
A total of 487 rooms and suites await guests at the hotel, including 346 Superior Rooms, 82 Deluxe Rooms, 41 Castle Club Rooms, 16 Signature Suites, 1 Princely Suite, and 1 Royal Suite – all meticulously redesigned to offer an elegant ambience and the utmost in modern comfort and luxury amenities. The rich tradition of Disney storytelling comes to life within each of these, with artwork and subtle embellishments paying homage to the iconic elements of Walt Disney Animation Studios' royal tales, even down to the finest décor details.
The Castle Club–an exclusive hotel enclave–offers guests a world of VIP privileges. This includes the added benefit of enhanced privacy via a dedicated private elevator and check-in area and the delight of breakfast in the company of Disney Princess Characters within the Castle Club Lounge. The suites, meanwhile, offer an unprecedented immersion into the enchanting world of Disney's royal narratives.
Both The Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière restaurants, steeped in the same captivating storytelling found throughout the hotel, promise an extraordinary gourmet dining experience infused with the artistry of French savoir-faire and the boundless creativity that defines all things Disney.
