Mangrove National Park is an ecological treasure of Abu Dhabi as it is home to various bird species, marine animals and lush greenery. The two main kayaking experiences take place during sunrise and sunset. If you have ever dreamed of free-falling from the sky, then skydiving over Yas Island should definitely be one of the things to do in Abu Dhabi for you. You will jump from a height of around 3,962 metres and get a bird’s-eye view of iconic sites like Ferrari World, the Yas Marina Circuit and the clear waters of the Arabian Gulf. Whether you're an experienced jumper or a first-timer, you are guaranteed a safe and thrilling experience. The whole thing takes 1-1.5 hours, including a pre-jump briefing.

Wakeboarding is a high-octane water sport where you stand on a board and are pulled by a cable or boat. The Al Forsan International Sports Resort is the place to go for this type of adventure. The cable park at the resort is ideal for both beginners and experienced people, with options to perform tricks or to simply enjoy the ride. The cables travel between 29 kmph to 35 kmph, depending on one’s level of experience.

It is home to the world's fastest rollercoaster, the Formula Rossa, which is a heart-pounding ride that accelerates from 0 to 240 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. The rollercoaster replicates the feeling of driving a Formula One car and is perfect for speed enthusiasts. You will need at least 4-5 hours to cover the entirety of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Keep in mind that it is extremely busy during weekends.

Located at the base of the Jabel Hafeet mountains is Al Ain Adventure Park, the Middle East’s first human-made whitewater rafting channel. You can kayak, wakeboard, surf and swim here, irrespective of whether you are a beginner learning the basics or an experienced water sports enthusiast. The adventure park is a great way to enjoy cool water thrills away from the heat of the city. Actions enthusiasts will love the park's exhilarating aerial adventure course that includes a 1,200–metre–long zipline and a 14-metre-high giant swing, among other features. You will need to set aside at least 3-4 hours to explore it from top to bottom.
