With a subtropical climate and year-round sunshine, the islands are a paradise for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Portugal's capital city of Lisbon is a must-visit for travellers that dig culture, art, and all that cosmopolitanism, that European cities are famous for. Lisbon makes for a pleasant destination even in the winter months as the city will feel warm in your Parka jacket, and will prove to be easy on its pockets. Add to that, a dash of amazing food and breathtaking views, Lisbon will mean fun times galore.
