Here are the top weekend events in Mumbai from November 23-24, 2024.
“The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” is a mystery novel by British writer Mark Haddon that follows the coming-of-age of a brilliant 15-year-old boy named Christopher who doesn’t quite fit in with society. It won the Whitbread Book Awards for Best Novel and Book of the Year, the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best First Book and the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize when it was released in 2003. Now, the story comes to the theatrical stage with an adaptation by Simon Stephens and direction by Atul Kumar. Produced by The Company Theatre, the play brings Christopher’s story to life with masterful performances and a unique theatrical style that will leave you questioning your own perceptions of reality. Through the story of the protagonist, the characters navigate the deeper complexities of life, from family dysfunction to the power of love and resilience in overcoming unexpected challenges.
