The magic of chocolates at ColocalColocal

Have you ever wondered where your favourite bar of chocolate comes from? This inquisitive question inspired the inception of Colocal Chocolates in 2020. Featuring India’s first live chocolate factory with a cafe, Colocal Chocolates' inviting Dhan Mill outlet was designed to introduce the audience to the world of Indian craft chocolate and bring them closer to the bean-to-bar experience. Offering daily tours of the chocolate factory for walk-in guests, Colocal has now introduced an immersive Chocolate Tasting Workshop. This workshop reveals the nuances of roasting, melanging, conching, tempering, and moulding. It begins with a guided tour of the chocolate factory, followed by a sit-down tasting session where participants discover the beauty of Indian cacao in its many forms. The workshop concludes with a fun DIY session, allowing guests to make their own personalised chocolate bars to take home. Led by co-founder Anshi Saxena and her team, the workshop embodies Colocal's vision to put Indian cacao on the world map.
