The group show "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss," curated by Myna Mukherjee, explores the evolution of abstraction, featuring works from seven artists in dialogue with geometric abstractionist SK Sahni's career. The exhibition at the Indian International Centre showcases diverse mediums such as paintings, drawings, glass sculptures, AI explorations, site-specific installations, and food art. Curator Myna Mukherjee offers a contemporary understanding of abstraction, reflecting the shift from iconography to abstraction as a resistance to assimilationist politics. Notable works include Adil Kalim's reinterpretation of abstract expressionism, Reshmi Dey's exploration of glass as a biomorphic form, and Shobha Broota's meditative woven paintings.
