About The Festival
The Delhi Tulip Festival is a 12-day festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and showcases over 200,000 tulip bulbs and 80,000 tulips. Organised by NDMC, it highlights the history of Indo-Dutch diplomatic relationships and is inspired by the Amsterdam Tulip Festival.
A Reminder
For those who have yet to participate in the festivities, the second edition of the ongoing Delhi Tulip Festival will continue until February 21. It is a celebration of spring, rejuvenation, beauty and colours.
Where To See
The spectacle can be seen right outside the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Shantipath in Delhi's Chanakyapuri area. The Chanakyapuri roundabouts have been adorned in these vibrant tulips for the past four years.
Highlights
The stretch is not just marked by the attractive flowers but also big educative banners delineating the history and evolution of tulips as well as the Indo-Dutch diplomacy. Street hawkers and vendors also dot the area for the fulfillment of the visitors.
Activities
Besides the beautiful visuals, the festival offers various activities for attendees, such as guided tulip walks, photography and painting competitions and musical performances.
The Flowers
