Isles of Scilly

During the pandemic, Prince William and Kate Middleton opted for staycations on the Isles of Scilly. They rented Dolphin House for two years for its stunning sea views and walled garden.

Courchevel

The royal family loves skiing. Prince Charles prefers Klosters, while William and Kate like skiing in Courchevel. They visited Courchevel in March 2016 with their children and returned with Prince Louis and Kate's sister.

North Island, Seychelles

The royal couple honeymooned at the North Island resort in the Seychelles in 2011. The resort has 11 villas that offer barefoot luxury, accessible mainly by helicopter. It's eco-conscious and has activities such as fishing and diving.

Mustique

Kate loves the private Caribbean island and has vacationed there with William. Mustique has a special place in royal history, dating back to Lord Glenconner's ownership in 1958. Princess Margaret had a plot there where she built her villa. In 2019, William and Kate stayed at Villa Antilles.

Norfolk

Anmer Hall in Norfolk is a retreat for the Wales family. It was given to Prince William and Princess Kate by Queen Elizabeth in 2011. They lived there from 2015 to 2017. During the pandemic, the family quarantined there.

Maldives

The Prince and Princess of Wales had a "second honeymoon" at the Cheval Blanc Randheli resort in the Maldives in 2014. The resort, which has 45 villas with private amenities like infinity pools, was exclusively reserved for the royal couple to ensure maximum privacy during their stay.

Balmoral

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have a summer tradition of staying at Balmoral, which the Queen Mother gifted. Balmoral provides a sanctuary for the family, where they swim, fish, ride and cycle.

During their Caribbean tour last year, William and Kate stayed at The Cove Resort on Paradise Island for two nights. They enjoyed a luxurious penthouse suite with stunning ocean views and a private beach. The Bahamas is special to William, who fondly remembers snorkelling there with Diana.
