Hemis National Park in Ladakh spans 4,400 sq km which makes it the largest national park in India. It is home to about 200 snow leopards and other wildlife, such as Tibetan wolves, red foxes and Himalayan marmots.
Situated 22 km from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, Dachigam National Park covers an area of 500 sq km and is home to snow leopards, Kashmir stags, hill foxes, Himalayan serows and Himalayan black bears.
