The Neemach Mata ropeway in Udaipur, Rajasthan, was inaugurated on January 22. The ropeway, built for INR 20 crore, will transport passengers to the Neemach Mata temple, which is dedicated to the revered deity of Udaipur.
The ropeway is situated at the picturesque Fateh Sagar Lake and offers stunning views of Udaipur. It is 500 feet long and has 12 ventilated cabins with automatic doors. It can transport 400 passengers per hour. The ropeway will save passengers from the laborious and time-consuming climb to the Neemach Mata temple, which typically takes 45 minutes to an hour.
The Neemach Mata ropeway is the second project completed by Damodar Ropeways and Infra Ltd in Rajasthan. The company, one of India's oldest and most experienced ropeway companies, also built the Savitri Mala Ropeway in Pushkar.
