If your New Year's Eve plan was to enjoy a raging night at the Sunburn Music Festival to be held in Goa, then you might have to rethink your plans as the festival will now be held from December 28 to 30 instead of December 31. Goa's Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte announced that the festival, earlier slated to be held on the eve of 2024, will also be strictly monitored to follow all the guidelines laid down by the High Court. In addition, khaunte also mentioned that the state tourism department has issued a provisional NOC to Sunburn on the dates it will be held.

Though official announcements have been made, rumours that the music festival will get extended to the eve are still doing the rounds. However, Khaunte strictly warned against the propagation of such misinformation, stating that doing so would invite strict measures.

According to the NOC, playing music beyond 10 PM is not allowed. If the guidelines are not adhered to, appropriate action will be taken against the authorities.
